suprasport
just sprayed car today, its looking good but on last coat of pearl on my last part the water filter dropped off bracket smashed and instantly fuc**ed the job up. my question is :- can i flat back to the basecoat tomorrow then apply a dust coat and 1 wet coat of base and carry on. running out of time or do i have to prime and wait again. whitesupratt
depending on the make of paint, (im not sure of what exactly its done to your paint job) you can put base over base/pearl over pearl etc up to 48 hours of previous coat. then clear it. suprasport
Ouch yep think i need a new gun they dont stand up well to 60mph collisions with walls. no airbag
whitesupratt
Yep, if it were me, id go back to it when you've sorted your watertrap situation, wet the floor, tack it off, and carry on! you'll find the time between base coats is not the major issue, its the time between the last coat of base/pearl and clearing it...so...chopi chop
