RedM
I can't believe I'm asking this but here goes. Eagle F1 tyre. Look at it as if it was on a car. At the top of the tyre, does the chevron pattern tread point forward or backward? I'm assuming forward but it seems counter to how you'd expect the tyres to bite. So, forwards or backwards? Ibrar Jabbar
Points forward, you will also see rotation arrows on the sidewall.

The bottom of the 'V' should come into contact with the road first ... so at the top of the tyre it would be upside down and pointing backwards I think. RedM
Is the rotation mark the little thing next to the Goodyear logo?

Kip
Pete, Try Toyo Proxe T1R's. Similar tread pattern - cracking grip - half the price! Sorry for the hijack.

I'm going to try the F1s anyway on the standard 17's I'm sorting. ChrisW when he sets mine up for me won't say I've got rubbish tyres or daft wheels then
RedM
In my defence the tyres are down in our hallway which isn't the most well-lit of places.
