Fire148
Went to look at a 96 gunmetal non turbo auto on Saturday morning... in Torquay. Car looked ok, a few body dents that put us off ... BUT then I popped the hood to check the engine etc, and I noticed that a plate had been welded over the Chassis number on the front bulkhead. Also the plate on the wing had scratch marks around it as though it had been removed and replaced. The engine on the tag was marked as 2JZ-GTE , which is the code for a turbo, even though this was a non turbo. The seller was a little suprised when I pointed these things out (or he was a good actor). Needless to say we walked away. Reg number is N633JLY We also HPI'd the car before we went and it came up completely clean !

Fire148
I know alot of trader sin Torquay. Do you know the guys name? I do know his name but I dont want to make it public for obvious reasons. There was no bodykit on the car, just as it was out of the factory. It was a facelift with 17" factory facelift alloys.
