John_M
Any of you guys know any companies supplying computer components at good prices (that's good for me, not them)? I'm looking to upgrade my processor, motherboard, memory and power pack. John

Ian C
true, i had a problem once but overclockers after sales is really good Is that why people have to resort to faxing solid black pages to them for a day to get them to answer the phone? After 3 months of fobbing off? http://www.dabs.com - how ecommerce should be, including after sales service, in my over-inflated opinion -Ian
MattSZ
Another vote for Dabs, Only because there the only company that I've had dealings with atfersales bought 2 sticks of ram one was faulty, they picked it up tested it and refunded me the cost of it and the postage even though i had a few other items delivered. All in took about 3-4 weeks from collecting the faulty item to refund. I don't think anywhere else would be as quick and easy as that
HunterJ
I use Scan, never had any problems...
Pixelfill
I use Scan, never had any problems... I'll second that. Fantastic prices, service and stock. keep checking out their today only pages, there are some really good deals available. I got a nvidia 6800 Ultra for less than a GT just after the drought. I was well happy. All my purchases over the last 4 years have been from Scan. do you get the picture yet Mike

Dash Rendar
And yet another vote for dabs.com from me.
Pixelfill
to level the playing field, a mate of mine bought a film scanner from Dabs, (Nikon Coolscan) when he used it, every scan had a big streak across it in the same location, turned out the lens was really badly scratched, Dabs refused to replace it, and charged him a restocking fee of 10% (IIRC). what made it worse for him was that he'd waited ages for it to be delivered. He ordered it, and it was "in stock" however whenever he phoned up it was due in on Tuesday, took around a month for him to actually get the scanner, after much pestering, I think he thought they'd fobbed him off with a previous return. Obviously not first hand experience, but I trust the guy in question, a good mate of 10 years. This was about 6 years ago though - maybe their service has improved Mike
