Terminator
As more and more members use a significant amount of piggy backs and standalone ECU's. Would it not be helpfull to have an area where all electrical tuning issues can be discussed. There was a thread in suggestions about this issue but is does not look like may saw it, as only 17 members voted. If you think this would be a worth while addition to the fourms and add value to the club please add your comments to the this thread. Thank you. Ibrar Jabbar
Yep, great idea and a section for single turbo upgrades.
Lucifer
Yes would be great, one section for each major ECu?
Terminator
I think one section for each ecu could be a little unamageable. Also some sections may be dead for ages. I guess we will have to see what the mods say.

Branners
Not saying this is going to happen but how about an APU section so it covers ECUs, singles, fuel kits...pretty much anything that takes the car outside the stock components... JohnA
That's a bit too general though, isn't it? Where do you draw the line between this and the 'technical' forum?
Branners
true, but how many posts will there be about ECUs? 1 a week means its going to get no traffic, theres not many people running aftermarket ECUs. There is a definition of APU somewhere, let me see if I can track it down. JB
JohnA
I think the americans call APU anything beyond the stock twins
Branners
which is pretty much what we are looking at, you wouldnt bother with an aftermarket ECU if you have stock turbos so it relates to singles and everything that goes with it. I just cant see the benefit of a section devoted to ECUs when only a fraction of the members have them and theres not much discussion around most of them as they arent really mappable by the end user. mrdsukautos
It would be fantastic for e-manage users dont know so much about the the stand alones though

JB I've got an aftermarket ECU with stock turbo's. I'm sure I'm not the only person. The reason why people make statements like "they're not mappable by the end user" is because there isn't the information out there on how to do it. Hence having a single "information resource" would be a big benefit.
