Faye
The heated thing isn't specific to UKs, they only got heated but the Jspecs got heated or flippy.

dangerous brain
I prefer heated. I never fold mine in so pointless but I do reverse off my drive on misted up evenings in the dark which involves head out the window antics.
Fifty
wasnt he a dolphin ???? nah- that was floppy:clap:

Keith C
You must have a problem with them then! Unless they're aftermarket?
dangerous brain
mines j spec and not flippy or warm Elements might be knacked in the glass. Switch on rear screen demist and see if they get hot. Do you have a switch on your right hand side dash? If you do then it should be flippy. I had a problem with my mirrors not folding turned out I'd left the plug off the switch DOH

Guest gzaerojon
Mine are neither !!!!! wheres the switch ? should come on with the heated rear screen. they should do 10,000 volt electric mirrors to get those bloody spiders who you never catch but pop out after you wash the car to leave a web. Buggers!
zap
Thanks for info, I will see if it works next time.

They are 200 quid a pop from toyota and come colour coded to the car if its a stock colour chap. the plug is diiferent though heated ones are a smaller plug than folding ones. You'll need a switch as well.

edd_t
has anyone got their flippy mirrors wired up so that they retract when the engine goes off (or perhaps when alarm is armed)? cos i keep forgetting to do mine.
KaoriFan
had no idea until i got the Supra, they were not combined into one. its a major design flaw, imo. heated and folding seem so practical in the UK. i know lane width and parking spaces in Japan make folding useful. but would have thought go heated as well, especially if its in Hokkaido. i must have heated ones, on my GZ as i cant turn them for love or money, unless doing something wrong :|
