I have the folding mirrors switch on my soop..

Is it possible to hot wire these, so the switch is made when the ignition is urned off, save having to press the switch. My misses C4 does this, but I am not a auto sparkie....

Any help most appreciated

trace the live from wing mirror, and find an ignition live from cigarette lighter or radio etc. and join them up, when you turn ignition off power will go off to mirrors. :D

Not as easy as that, as the mirrors use a live to push them out, and another live to pull them in again, hence the requirement for relays and the like. Not as simple as just wiring to a live.

sorry read that wrong thought we were talking heated mirrors, think it came from the

hot wire
doooooh

you could still do it with one of the ariel lives, same theory behind that ignition on ariel up ignition off ariel down.

the down/off live only becomes live for about 15 seconds when you turn ignition off, enough to fold mirrors in.
