Weren't some of the group B rally cars twin turbo supercharged?

Single turbo supercharged - Lancia Delta S4

Quite a few twincharged cars around now, a nice little MK1 MR2 project well underway at the moment over here - should be very rapid!

And of course...

Slightly off topic but could you have a supercharger and a big single in a Supra? Lots of quickness off the line then an almighty wallop when the turbo comes in. Lack of space?

Martin,

Thats what the picture of the engine above is! Look on the left of the engine :D

Gaz,

You are assuming I even recognised that as an engine. As far as I know there could be an army of ninja mice below my bonnet, powering the Supra with their little ninja-mice energy.

On a more serious note, whos engine is that? Is it in a Supra? More details sil vous plate.

Its Arnout's, a member, from the Netherlands. He likes building insane cars.

I'm sure he'll chip it at some point. Not sure if its actually ended up in a Supra yet, last time he updated us it being bench tested still :)

I sold the car that I was planning to put it on in (2nd time plans). The 1st plan was my mk2 supra (MA60) dragracer but I thought the T88 was a little bit too small and a good two-step launch can spoolup anything up to like a GT47, so the charger is not needed.

But yeah, the engine, or the idea will end up in a car some time.
