JohnK
Decoke set is usually a generic term for all the gaskets required to remove the head.
Jake
Bugger! Steve's just emailed again to say he's quoted me for the stock 86mm pistons because he couldn't find any oversize ones. I'm sure I've read on here that oversize pistons were available from Toyota

merckx
I have never heard of Toyota making oversize for the supra ...be bloddy good if they did so I'm all ears on that one. They don't. Curt Aigner from Elmhurst Toyota - Supraforums Sorry no oversizes on 2j pistons from Toyota The factory only recommends .050mm oversize [20 over usa]. With 30 and 40 over [using aftermarket pistons in US measurments] The cylinder wall is too thin to disperse heat properly!
b_have
They don't. Curt Aigner from Elmhurst Toyota - Supraforums Think he means 0.5mm (0.020")
Miguel
They don't. Curt Aigner from Elmhurst Toyota - Supraforums Oh some of us are good huh ..Ive been saying that anything over 86.5 scares the hell out of me for ages and refuse to fit bigger. Them walls are scary thin.

colsoop
It calls it a " gasket kit engine valve grind" The picture isn't brilliant but here is what you get :
Jake
Thanks mate. Would everyone agree that it appears to include the head gasket and valve stem seals? It would a fairly reasonable price if it does.
Nic
Jake, here are all the EPC images you need. BTW I also have prices for all the parts you listed and should be able to save you quite a bit of dosh, if you can wait a few weeks for delivery. I've just spoken to my supplier who says Toyota do make 0.5 oversize pistons, he needs to check if they are available for the 2JZ engine though. I'll find out tomorrow and let you know. Asked everywhere and always got this reply Toyota does not / nor ever had a oversized piston in any size for the 2J series motors. You'll need to buy aftermarket ones. Curt Elmhurst Toyota But if the land of noodles has em that would be cool
