I emailed Steve Manley at Inchcape Toyota in Oxford and asked him for a price for a headgasket and a set of 87mm pistons and rings. This is what he replied with :

04112-46056 Decoke set .... £156.87 your price £125.50

11115-46052 Head gasket ... £105.80 your price £ 84.64

90910-02102 Head bolts .... £ 13.02 your price £ 10.04 each, req 14

13011-46051 Piston ring set £118.90 your price £95.12

13101-46091 Piston ........ £ 35.83 your price £28.66 each

13568-49036 Timing belt ... £ 23.68 your price £18.94

all prices + V.A.T.

but what is a Decoke set? Will I need one for a 30,000 mile engine?

Also, could somebody with an EPC check the part numbers for the pistons and rings to make sure they are 87mm and for the VVTi ?

Thanks a lot

I have never heard of Toyota making oversize for the supra ...be bloddy good if they did so I'm all ears on that one.

They don't.

Sorry no oversizes on 2j pistons from Toyota

The factory only recommends .050mm oversize [20 over usa].

With 30 and 40 over [using aftermarket pistons in US measurments] The cylinder wall is too thin to disperse heat properly!

Jake, here are all the EPC images you need.

BTW I also have prices for all the parts you listed and should be able to save you quite a bit of dosh, if you can wait a few weeks for delivery.

I've just spoken to my supplier who says Toyota do make 0.5 oversize pistons, he needs to check if they are available for the 2JZ engine though. I'll find out tomorrow and let you know.

Cool if they do ..I've been searching for OEM overisze for years with no luck.

Asked everywhere and always got this reply

Toyota does not / nor ever had a oversized piston in any size for the 2J series motors.

You'll need to buy aftermarket ones.

But if the land of noodles has em that would be cool :yu:

My supplier checked, Toyota make oversize pistons for some models, but they don't make them for the 2JZ :(
