Alex
Can you take a pic and get the part number off it? What year is your NA?
adi2009
NA supra (J-spec) has a MAP sensor. US spec NA's have a MAF sensor.
Ian C
NA supra (J-spec) has a MAP sensor. US spec NA's have a MAF sensor. Hmmm, except the J-Spec NA Supra in fact has a MAF and not a MAP... Actually it's called a VAF - Volume Air Flow, but it's still an airflow sensor just after the intake filter. No pressure sensors anywhere. -Ian

Ian C
Quote from Tech Manual "Mass Air Flow Sensor" Our new proxy at work stop me from uploading files to anything these days, which is brilliant :thumbdown Otherwise I would post up page 27 of the '95 electrical manual that calles it a "Volume Air Flow (Air Flow Meter)"... -Ian

adi2009
I am positive that J-spec NA's dont have MAF's. My car was an NA (J-spec) and here is a pic of the engine bay. Look carefully after the intake filter on my car and compare it to the pic in the next post. Note: the shiny piece of metal is what I got made to accommodate the aftermarket filter. NOT a MAF
adi2009
And here is a Pic of a US spec NA. Notice the MAF right after the air filter
Ian C
I'm sure Digsy's NA has got a MAF... This is interesting Where is your MAP sensor then, I can't see it in that piccy. -Ian
