hadyn
At present im running the hks one Stick with it then If you want a change, put the stock re-circ bov back on, as long as it isnt leaking
mikeyb10supra
The HKS one doesnt fail like the Blitz one apparantly The blitz one can handle more boost than the HKS unit....you need to use the HKS racing BOV to go one better than the blitz one?? Supra_Nish
I use the blitz, no problems whatsoever. Was previouosly owned by Homer so its been going a while now. Pretty sure its the best sounding I've ever heard, yet to hear anytihng louder. Pretty sure either BOV will handle the pressure unless you go to single etc.
Seb
What's good about the HKS is that it uses air pressure to stay closed rather than relying on a spring (afaik). Technically, I guess this means that the HKS will never leak, as it uses the spring to keep the valve open, so as long as there is air running through your pipes it will stay closed. Guest Terry S
two different types, push & pull. The new style Blitz are fine, the older ones were pants

mikeyb10supra
its a sharp high pitched chirp sound on full boost and a fluttery sound on low....quite subtle the Blitz is a loud woosh
supra_surj
Does the blitz super sound bov sound like a recirculating valve? Surj
Nic
Does the blitz super sound bov sound like a recirculating valve? Surj A recirculating BOV is silent, as it releases the pressurised air back into the system. BOV's that vent to atmosphere are the ones that make the whistle/whoosh noise, this noise will vary from model to model and boost levels. Bob
its a sharp high pitched chirp sound on full boost and a fluttery sound on low....quite subtle See, i'm confused. Everyone says that about the HKS, and I've heard the same on a GT4 - tbh it sounded a bit embarassing. My HKS makes a bloody great 'whoosh', no chirps at all. And I'm running stock boost.
