Irvy Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 ok...its nearly xmas - so instead of more goodies for the car...we got ourselves a laptop:rolleyes: anyway...its wireless connections...but how to do it?? i have yahoo broadband at the moment with a voyager 205 router which also gives me Xbox live what do i need to connect all together with the wireless option? i bet someone knows and will save me 4 hours of surfing to find out! tDR Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 As far as I know the one in the ebay link is the cable broadband version (as in cable company... cable tv etc) - you want the Netgear DG834GT for ADSL broadband. I nearly bought one tonight, until reading all the negative reviews about how the Wifi part isn't very reliable and the internet connection keeps dropping Also if you install the lastest Firmware it can shaft the system all together!
