CJ
I am looking to employ a grapic designer for my company location at Bristol. Does anyone know of any specialist agencies that deal in this field or of anyone that may be looking for a job? Edit to add: I am not looking to sub contract the work but to have a designer work for me as an employee based at Bristol.
raymanuk
Hi Cj, If you want to PM me details of what you are after, info on the company and meanig and the sort of image you want to portray with your branding. I can pass on the info to 2 people I know, one is a freelance graphic designer and the other is a friend who no longer does it as he concentrates on his art stuff more now and family life. Cheers, Rayman
CJ
Thanks Rayman Ideally I am looking for a person to join us at Bristol to work on our in house marketing campaigns and also to visit our customer base to take "briefs" and design accordingly. At the moment we currently sell about £100k of design in a year most of which is sub contracted out.
raymanuk
Ah I think I misread your original post. Apologies. I thought you just wanted to employ someone to do your branding and designs as a one off for the company you have started. I doubt these guys I know will want to commute or move to Bristol as they are quite settled where they are. I shall run it by them though. IDO
As above.. Designer but not local.. If you can't find anyone on here, i suggest if you want to put an Ad some where or contact an agency, have a look in Design Week.. Its the first place alot of people in the trade look for employment.. also it has a list and contact details of pretty much all the agencies (shop around the agents, their fees can range quite a bit!!!!!).. hope this helps If need be Pm me and i'll dig out an copy and pass on the name of a couple of agents in your area.. Ben-san
Col. Try here. They've got a good talent base and may have what you're looking for. http://www.blueskiescareers.co.uk/blueskies.asp?spc=contentstyle.asp?pid=3 Be warned though, the tradeoff is they take quite a fee should you choose to keep someone after a trial period. Guest TheGreatGastby
Hi CJ, I'm a Bristol - well Bath based but I currently work in Bristol - designer and am interested in your job. Can you email me some more details and exactly what kind of design it is and we can take it from there. You know CV's samples and all that. Look forward to hearing from you!
