Jake
A tacho (rev counter) or a speedo? For a Facelift or pre-facelift Supra? If it a tacho you want do you want an auto or manual one?

tDR
Sounds like you didn't zero the needle when fitting your dials kenny - you need to lift / bend the needles over the stops and see where they naturally rest (it will be way below zero) with the engine off. Then you temporarily mark that position before removing the needles to change dials (and yes the old dials do come off) and then refit the needles in the same position with the new dials in place before then bending them back over the stops to rest on them again. ^^ That's how it should be done. To correct now it's fecked involves taking the needles off at a set speed verified by whatever GPS device you can get a hold of and placing the speedo at the right speed and the tacho is best done at idle when the car is warm - it should be at 850rpm iirc.
