keron Posted July 7, 2003 Share Posted July 7, 2003 hi, basically the rear wheel span out and hit a curb! now taken the rear wheel apart and i found that the strut rod is bent and on the lower suspension arm no. 1....there is a ball joint on it and it has snapped, so im left with half of the thred left in the hub (axel carrier) so how can i get this out? does it screw in or is it just pushed through? anyone?? heres a link so you can kind of see where im comming from (look at the pic next to no. 11. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/rear_axle_hub_replacement/rah4.jpg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
