RedM
Someone should have read what was actually for sale. HERE
MARTIN R
It amazes me that people do not check:drown:
RedM
It’s not even a genuine box. He made it himself!
chilli
wow that's a lot for a cardboard box! The add clearly states what you are getting, not like some adds where it's a small one liner hidden in the text somewhere, the buyer can't blame anyone else for this mistake! carl0s
I wonder why the seller is no-longer registered though? Do you think he got in trouble over it?

IDO
I remember some one done the same when the PS2 came out.. think they got away with it, as it was an sale as "PS2 BOX as new".. I remember the buyer complained saying he thought he was bidding on a "PS2 BOXED as new"..
SteamAhead
Yep agreed, very clearly states it's just a box. Some very stupid people out there Or they have more money than sence :rich:
carl0s
You reckon? well the only thing I can see that he's actually done wrong is list it in the Consoles category instead of the Console Accessories category!

geoffvalenti
[RANT] I'm sorry, but I just see all of this as very wrong It is just unscrupulous sellers exploiting naive buyers. If you look at the examples quoted, both buyers only have a feedback rating of 2. This means that they are inexperienced in the ways of eBay. Although, superficially, it could be construed as funny, I can't see how scamming £500 or so out of someone just before Christmas is in the slightest bit amusing. OK so the buyer should have read the advert better, but the seller was just trolling for the gullible, and TBH its things like this that get eBay the dodgy reputation that its got today :thumbdown [/RANT]
