Aerotop Dave
Is this the one where Quentin Wilson says 'Currently she drives this totally unsuitable Toyota Supra' as we see her backing up the kerb? I thought it was silver. Tsk, my memory.
tbourner
Again, a TT Driver slagging of the NA's, wouldn't surprise me if it was a TT:no: I think it was because the NA is slower than the TT (you're not arguing that fact are you?), therefore would ease the displeasure slightly that some dimwit driver had bought a supe if at least it was the slower one. Jeez these bloody NA owners are so tetchy!!

chilli
let me clarify, just as tbourner rightly summised - I said that purely because a slower car will definitely make a safer choice for a novice or bad driver, not because the slower car is 'worse' (whatever that means) and therefore more expendable! I personally don't get the n/a verses tt debate. One is faster than the other - the prices reflect that, that's it. Horses for courses, depends what you want out of your car... Britans worst driver - Moreen isn't it? If she had to give you a lift from A to B and she could pick from an N/A or a big single monster which would you want her to choose? ok so you might well die in both anyway lol

Guest jaima
I am now the owner of an NA and just because ppl have the faster TT it does NOT merit them as good drivers, experience comes with age not speed !!!.

Jeez these bloody NA owners are so tetchy!! Drive one and see how much fun you have then mate !! We are tetchy, cos you TT owners always slag us off. On the recent Cumbria run that Adj sorted, I was mixing around the windy roads, and in a few of the parts, was overtaking the TT boys playing it slow. DB will tell you he likes his TT, but really enjoyed driving his NA. Speed is not everything, As the nice policeman told me when he stopped me doing 105........ let me clarify, just as tbourner rightly summised - I said that purely because a slower car will definitely make a safer choice for a novice or bad driver, not because the slower car is 'worse' (whatever that means) and therefore more expendable! And lastly, by having a slower car I might be a 'novice or bad driver'. How many on here have done a advanced POLICE driving course and full skid pan. (me as a ex - RAF Copper for 1). Prof. Monkey
Hear Hear Tom! No turbo lag and can easily outrun a TT on the twisties, no traction control to take away driver input. I can easily keep up with a TT until they get thier 2nd turbo spooling up and boosting. But speed is anything, at the end of the day we all drive a SUPRA, you could throw a starlet EP91 engine in it and it would still be a supra on the outside and people would still go "wow a supra!" Hooray to all Supra owners.
CJ
And is this why the price of a TT is tumbling and the NA is remaining constant at the mo ?? I dont wish to get into the Na v TT debate but that comment must have been tongue in cheek right? What I mean is that both are dropping like stones! This is the Mk IV Supra Forum not the Mk IV NA Supra or Mk IV TT Supra Forum. It is not a club of two halves, we all drive Supra's.
