Anyone heard/read the semi-theory involving all the main characters being on the plane not through their own choice? Apart from the Boone and Shannon and Hugo. And B&S are now dead

eg:

Sawyer was on the plane because he was kicked out of Oz by the cops

Jack was sent there to collect his father's body

Sayeed was escorting his terrorist mates body

Locke was got a flight after he was refused to go on the Walkabout thing.

Sun and Jin were on a job for Mr Palk

etc etc

I've been thinking that for ages, Jake, and I didn't even know about any of those points!!!!!!!

Is that a working theory now then? I'd assumed everyone was thinking the same thing (or more or less). My theory came from Claire mainly though, the psychic telling her which plane to go on! The question is did he really know the plane would crash (being alone on an island with the baby is better than it being given away [cos she HAS to bring up the baby!!!!!]), or was he 'told' to tell her those things in some way?

Obviously you lot have seen more baby episodes than me, so you can probably quash that theory!! :p Is it 'special' in some way? Similar to Walt?

And Kate was being escorted back to the States, and her escorter died on the island.

Walt and his dad where returning to the states after the boys mum died...

Hhhmmmmm could make sense.

What I want to know is, where did the guy from the shelter go to? He seemed to run off knowing where it was that he needed to go? Why did they not follow him?

Apparently Desmond does make further appearances because he's listed in the credits for future episodes. Also, the Dharma film is apparently misleading in some respects due to Desmond watching it to death and breaking the celulose film and then rejoining it with parts missing.
