Alex
Take the T04R turbo. Give it a A/R of say 0.81 and an exhaust housing F-trim of .81 1. How does having a dual chamber exhaust housing change things 2. How would it be affected by choosing a .96, 1.00 or 1.15 a/r exhaust housing - with the same .81a/r for the rest of the turbo? 3. Visa-versa - different sized turbo a/r and a .81 exhaust housing a/r. I'm trying to understand these a/r rating changes, T04R is a mid to big single capable of 700+hp. What I'm looking for is to understand how flow, power, heat and lag are affected by the different a/r ratings. (I got the a/r figures from http://www.t04r.com/images/to4r_AR.jpg) Cheers all, as per usual please use laymens terms for me and my simple mind!
