Ceptik
My dad needs to get a vehicle after his car was written off. He doesn't wanna spend much cos he's only keeping it for a month or so then going abroad. Can anyone recommend any makes/models or small vans? I dont know any model types of vans! Only cars. So i dont even know what to start looking for?!

merckx
Fiat Scudo, Peugeot Expert , Citroen Dispatch They're all the same under different badges. The HDI engines are good, common rail turbo diesel. Not sure how much your spending, the older engines are just normal TD . HDI best TD okay Diesel (Normally aspirated ) not so good Just read that he's only keeping it for a month or so, just get anything then . You could just rent one. Max Headroom
If its only for a month or so how about anything with 4 wheels has a valid MOT and taxed. Make should be unimportant.

Ceptik
Had a word with him and he's decided to go down the hiring route. He found a price of £800 for a small van until January. Probably cheaper than getting the car/van, taxing, MOTing and insuring it. Thanks for the help all the same! This is always the first place i go to if i have any queries about anything!
