SupraStar 3000
smart keyboard
Ben-san
Last pic shows the old one removed to give you an idea of how they fit, as mentioned above just slipping an old plastic card in at each end was enough to push the tabs. It's all clear to me now Mike. Cheers! Nice keyboard BTW lol
paul mac
having recently re-sprayed the car a mate (thanks Jon) gave me the idea of ditching the bonnet mounted jets in my effort to go for the "smooth" look, these are from a citroen i think, dont ask me how they work as i have still got to plumb the tank in as its going in the boot
Bobbeh
Does the water come out of the wipers? My gf's Chevy does that, so no need for bonnet mounted jets, I thought it was a good idea.

Jspec Germany
Can one of you with Modded jets please take a picture or have a passenger take a picture of the spray pattern from in the car while driving? I'd be very interested to see what that's like at 80mph. Thanks.

Jspec Germany
It matters to me, that's why. I live on the autobahn. I'm worried about the mist/spray not being powerful enough to cover the screen at speed due to aerodynamics.

Sharpie
I got some of these today but, did not notice on the above photo's that the exit hole for the water is actually offset to one side. Looking at the part number sticker on the bag, it says Nozzle, FR Washer. Does the FR stand for Front or Front RIGHT ? I guess they work just fine as otherwise Michael would not of posted about them but, just wondered about the FR part and if there is a FL nozzle ? bigbloodyturbo
Just out of interest sharpie how much did toyota want for them? I got told £17 each from a lexus stealership up here and almost fell over.
Sharpie
£23 odd for the two so, they have not gone up much since 2006.
mawby
As this thread has been linked to today; Michael, after nearly 4 years of 'upgraded' washer jet ownership how do you rate them now? And isn't it about time you posted up a picture of them in action.

michael
Sorry I missed this one, will try to get the info folks have asked for but generally I've been happy with the way they worked, a vast improvement over the standard ones in my opinion. devan
Received and fitted my Lexus washer jets today, I ordered them from LexusPartDirect online on April 6th and 1 month later they arrived lol. But they are a perfect colur match, and spray a nice flat level spray of water on the bottom quarter of the windscreen, very happy. Suprakeith
Just an update tryed to order the Lexus washer jets from my local toyota dealership in peterborough and they told me dont order any lexus parts, so ordered front set of supra washer jets which came to £
Guigsy
I always take the opinion I/we know more than the Toyota dealer. I'm/we are usualy correct. The lexus ones I ordered are a direct and easy replacement. And work better

DodgyRog
Funny this should be bumped, I have been looking for the ones that fit onto the wiper arms The only ones I can find are these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390379180656 Anyone tried them or tried anything similar I am not sure if the ones on Ebay will fit, as it looks from the pic that they go under the arm rather than beside it They have the right sort of thing on Merc Sprinter vans, anyone know of any other vehicles that use this style Edited January 4, 2012 by DodgyRog (see edit history)
Suprakeith
I would be very intrested in having washer jets on wipers as am hoping in couple months having carbon fibre bonnet fitted and didnt want to cut holes in bonnet for washer jets really
dan294
The Peugeot 405 used to use a similar setup. They blocked up easily as the holes were so small. Worked well when they did work though. Had 3 405 Mi-16's with that setup back in the day!
