mawby
...as of Thursday I will be moving home. Unfortunately we can't get a telephone line installed until the 9th of December and I'm off work until the 5th of December, so until then you wont see me around these parts! If I have anything outstanding that I said I would do that needs doing before I get back, let me know now! In my absence any trader enquires should be directed to tDR, any other membership enquires should go to Mad Matt, any problems with the forum or the site should be directed to Keith C, and any moderation queries can go to Supragal. Cheers, mawby

mawby
Cheers, although given the hassle we've had so far I can't see it being somehow. What's that I see on the weather forecast, snow for Friday!

tbourner
Ooh where you moving to? Still in the area? Hope it goes OK m8, apart from the arctic blizzard that's due on Friday of course!! Can't you move on another day instead?
mawby
We're moving to Wiltshire, about 90 miles away, so snow on Friday will not be good as I estimate the journey in the van taking 2 hours already. Having got it there and unloaded it I then need to drive it back down here for the hire company to collect, and then I have to drive my car back up there. mawby
LoL, none at all I can highly recommend lots of things NOT to do when buying a house. Unfortunately it would take too long to list them all. I might actually write a book, 101 things that can go wrong when buying a house. If I include useful stuff like "What to do about it" then it could become a best seller.
Mad Matt
Best include the fact that you'll be living on takeaways and dining off cardboard boxes then m8! We were in turmoil for almost 3 weeks! Couldn't find ANYTHING! Never had a pair of socks last me that long!

mawby
There's also a one stop next to the chinese which has a rather impressive range of alcohol. Plus loads of buy one get one free offers. Everything we could possibly need all within walking distance.

mawby
Cheers everyone. Given the 7 very long months it's taken to get this far I'm hoping the actual move will go without any problems.

Best to save the beer until after we've got everything through the door then?
