Homer
I friend of mine is starting her own Sports Masseuse business and needs a database to track customer details. I'm hoping you guys can give some recommendations. Ideally it should be able to do the following: - Store main contact details (Name, address, contact number, etc) - Have a largish free text function within the contact details to enter any notes - Be able to send bulk emails to people in the database - Be able to print letters (using a template) but change the address in the letter for each person in the database. e.g. for bulk mailing. The last two points are not essential, but would be nice to have. Cheers
Branners
never really looked at it but the old Office2000 Small Business Solution had a CRM database built in, might be worth looking at if its all fully built and ready to go.. Whitesupraboy2
What you want could be done in a nice simple Access Database. * Easy to maintain as business is just starting, *easy to backup for a home user (copy file to a CD) *setup printing of different letters for future reference. Very little chance of it going wrong and easy for almost anyone to update for her in the future as its not programming just simple database structure. Forms could be created so she just enters into certain boxs without seeing all the tables. Ohh and also free and cheap which is important
Homer
Thanks for all the recommendations. I'll have a read through them shortly. The person which this is for is totally non-IT literate so it needs to be as simple as possible to use and administer. Bit of a tall order I know!! edd_t
Act then straight out the box, minimal set up...
carl0s
As much as I hate the program, ACT! does sound just about right for the job.
