Andrew
Did you order the harness with it? Makes life alot easier if you have.
Andrew
I followed the photos on the HKS installation, as it's exactly the same. Once you open up the shelf under the steering column it will all become clearer. It then just plugs into the ignition harness replacing the old one. Is it the dual turbo timer with electronic boost gauge? If so the only tricky part is running the vaccum pipe through the firewall and into the engine. Takes about 20mins or so. 400BHP
Daveyboy.... Disconnect your battery earth terminal and leave it for 90 seconds before touching any wiring under the column, otherwise you may possibly deploy the airbag(s).
daveyboy
have a hard job coz it aint got airbags but thanks for the concern . john my email is [email protected] thanks you have all been very helpfull daveyboy:D
Andrew
Easier than I first thought yes. I have no idea about the wiring without the harness I'm afraid mate, I can tell you the harness costs about £16. I mounted it on top of the steering column under the REV counter, the wire tucks away under the column nicely. I have ordered a Blitz Power SJ meter from Justin and will hopefully get that next week, so I will more than likely have all the wires out again and I'll try get some pictures for you if you haven't already done it by then. The HKS ones on MKIV.COM will help though.
