JohnK
Ive been reading up on the auto to manual box conversion and keep coming across that the transmission tunnel has to be modified and possibly a cradle? welding in but no details. Does anyone know in detail what is needed to be done? What parts are needed that cant be removed from the donor car? If any parts are needed are these freely available and any idea of cost? Nic
John, I've just ordered a load of brand new OEM parts for a guy in Aus who is doing an auto to manual swap, so have all the part numbers and price if there is anything you need.

It's just like in the link that Ben's put. Basically the "floor" if you like around the gearbox is different between the manual and auto. However don't worry as it's an entire panel that can be cut out and a replacement welded in. It's not for the squeamish but not brain surgery either. JohnK
Thanks for the info everyone. Nic if you have the spare time a parts list and prices would be a good reference for people on here. This is not something I am planning doing until the new year at least now due to circumstances beyond my control here. P.S. Are you still looking into the price of that wheel for me?
