albundy68
Hi All just got my car back from envy with the TRD wide kit being fitted, etc, - it was with dude for ages before that and he stripped out the interior. When i got the car back the central locking worked, when you armed the alarm, it locked - fine. But next day the alarm still arms but doesnt lock the doors. So i need to use the key and do it manually. I initially thought this might be an alarm problem, BUT when you lock one of the doors manually with key, the other doesnt lock. So im thinking it could be a central locking problem. Like i said the interior has been stripped and re fitted, so it could be just that something has come loose. Anyone know of any way to check? or should i get a garage to do it? The alarms a scorpion cat one if that helps, (but like i said i suspect its not an alarm issue). albundy68
sorted this today, all it was, was one of the hydrolic leads had come loose from its housings so wasnt pulling the locks too and fro. Strange that it only took one loose hydrolic lead to stop the locking on both sides. But anyway, if anyone looks this up in future and is having central locking probs i'd advise taking the drivers side door pannel off and having a looksy, because if i'd taken mine to a garage instead of gettin me paws muckytoday, no doubt it'd have cost me 50-100 quidz!!!
