Need4Speed
When I got back from the Nürburgring I noticed a scraping noise from the brakes. These discs were not cracked when I before I went. Anybody else had this happen? Both sides are the same.
Pete
Blimey! I wonder who made those discs - certainly weren't up to the heat you got them to.
Need4Speed
Toyota made them! They're standard J-spec rears.

Nic
You'll be needing some larger UK spec brakes then What pads were you using?

Need4Speed
Well, sorry guys but I've just put new J-spec discs on the back. I've got new Uks on the front and I use Portefield R4 pads. In absolute terms, the car needs a lot more braking power... but then sometimes I have to drive it on the road!

Need4Speed
The disc in the pic is at least 40,000 miles old and I suspect it to be the original factory fitting.
