Chris Wilson Posted November 11, 2005 Share Posted November 11, 2005 I have UK Windows 2000 Professional loaded on my PC, and want to run some automotive software that is written in the Japanese language, with Japanese fonts and characters. Without stopping the OS working normally with domestic apps what do I need to do / add to make it work with this Japanese domestic market software? At the moment it "sort" of works, but many menus have random odd characters (not Japanese, just lines or balck blobs and boxes). Thanks! Someone on another forum jokingly said install Japanese Windows, is this a viable option, on say a UK laptop? Where would I obtain a copy of 98 or upwards Japanese Windows, preferably FOC ? Cheers. In Windows XP you just go into Control Panel > Regional Langauge Settings > then add the Japanese language support. Not sure about 2000 sorry.
