Lucifer
Q I have always been told that putting a rolling auto car into "Neutral" is Bad for the Tranny... Why is this? Q If an auto car (TT Supra), when changing gear feels like the clutch is slipping and takes longer than ususal to reel the power back in from each gearchange, which part is most likley at fault? Q What is a Sprag? Thanks

TrickTT
Running in neutral means the oil pump in the gearbox isn't working. Wont hurt for a few yards but will knacker the gearbox eventually. Same reason as why you shouldn't tow an auto without removing the prop shaft.
