Pete
I've been thinking - you must get slightly better mpg if you DON'T fill all the way up. The weight of all that fuel must be more strain to pull.
chilli
That's pretty good, I'm too scared to calculate it! Anyway, surely you can wave goodbye to any mpg figures you would want to calculate soon, as I see from another thread that you're looking into singles Edit: I've wondered that about the tank being full, but it can't make much dfference can it? Having the tank low all the time means more trips to the pump, so it's swings and roundabouts most likely.
Marty
i know, mpg going to go right out the window!! but dont mind, getting myself a run about to go back and to to work and the soop is going to be a weekend, evening toy
CJ
I recently had to drive like an old woman as the car needed mapping due to a new turbo being fitted. I drove off boost all the time and managed 24mpg too. That figure was even more impressive as I have a hi stall TC and have to rev the guts out of it around town to get anywhere!
