michael
Has anyone used Budweg brake parts before? http://www.budweg.co.uk I need to overhaul my brakes and was looking at refurb kits but while on one site brand new Budweg calipers cropped up for a fairly reasonable price - not something I'd skimp on but I was curious about them. 4 pots work out at £62.45 a side for fronts and £61.12 a side for the rears - I believe they are 'remanufactured' items though so this could involve sending them your own items back as part payment on top of the above? They add a £20 surcharge on to J-Spec ones when you add them to the basket (UKs are out of stock so I can't check). Service kits come in at £7.53 for the rears and £10.12 for fronts. Pistons are £10.82 each for rears and £11.08 for fronts. All prices are quoted from http://www.brakeparts.co.uk and could include a discount I have under my login. Like I said above I'm planning to go cheap on something as important as brakes but seeing them made me curious so any input would be of interest

michael
yes, very good... BUT getting hold of the 4 pots is like finding rocking horse sh**.... I can see that having done a bit of a search since I posted, I guess there aren't any in the system to keep it ticking over. I only need a £10 refurb kit anyway but I got all excited with the prospect of new brakes for peanuts J-Spec ones are in stock for slightly less money but I guess nobody wants those really. Chris Wilson
You may find that the J-Spec rears are Lexus ones with the wrong piston sizes for the Supra, although they are nearly identical otherwise and will bolt on and work, albeit with the wrong brake bias.
