Ok looking at organising a big meet in Jan 06, need to look to the new year to get things started and rolling for the North East. Gives everyone a chance to relax after the busy christmas period and show off their new toys.

January 21st as a provisional date, meet starting at say 5pm. North east venue yet to be confirmed, need to look into other options as backups.

Let me know if u fancy attending. 90 cars attended the last meet and everyone really enjoyed the evening. That was a wed night, this is a sat night, so lets get more people along!

Again police will be notified of the meet, and best behaviour again is requested.

Further info is available through http://www.japautostyling.co.uk/forum

Details confirmed!

Date: 21st January 2006

Time: 5pm

Location: Stadium of Light, Sunderland.

There are over 200 spaces available within the car park, and also a seperate section which will be for 'show' cars, some of the more modified cars that will be picked out upon entrance to the car park. It will be in the car park that is behind the ticket office at the stadium, the car park is also fully floodlit and maccy d's is within a 2min walk of the stadium.

There will be 3 trophies available for the night aswell, Best Engine Bay, Best Unique modification, and also Best Overall. These will be presented at 7pm.

There will be allocated parking for clubs, after our first meet a request was made for clubs to be able to park together, so there will be a small map handed out upon arrival into the car park. Could people please let us know if they are attending so I have a good idea of numbers for parking plots. Video will be taken of the evening to be used to help advertise further meets this year.

Most of the details is included below, J-Tuner and Banzai unfortunately cant make the meet, but they have asked us to take pics and do a write up and they will put the details in their respective magazines.

A convoy from Sheffield is currently being organised, further details will be available on http://www.japautostyling.co.uk/forum when they are posted up.

Sheffield convoy details - Meet at meadowhall retail park outside Toys R Us, Saturday 21st of jan at 1p.m for a 1.45pm depart. Look for MrBoosts Supra.

If you are wanting to join this convoy, please post your details on http://japautostyling.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1423 so we know who is expected to turn up.

Can clubs also get back to me with regards to number of attendees that are confirmed as attending. As advised earlier allocation is being sorted for clubs so you can all park together and still have room for latecomers, again details will be passed out as you enter the car park. Again hot food and drinks will be available by means of a mobile caterer, and AB Graphics may be attending (not confirmed yet) with their van so if you reqwuire number plates making up or stickers, Im sure they will have the necessary equipment with them for this, again will need to get this confirmed though.

I have also allocated a seperate car park for non jap cars (right next to the carpark being used), mainly people who have cars stored away for the winter or who are wanting to just come and have a look round. Could people please respect this as it is a Jap meet and we have had an extremely good response so far and we currently have 145 cars down as attending so the car park will be quite full as it is.

Best behaviour is again requested as the stadium of light are doing us a massive favour allowing us to use their grounds for the meet.

Any question please give me a shout

Neil

First of all a big thanks to all that attended on Saturday, as you probably saw the night was a great success. Around 200 cars attended the evening from all round the country, with a wonderful selection of Jap metal being shown off in the Show area aswell as in the club parking. Everyone had a good night including the caterers, and the stadium have had no problems or incidents reported, and they have advised we are welcome back anytime they are free.

I have also been in contact with Matt at JTuner this morning. Many thanks to the photographer Johnny for turning up and for his 6hr round trip from the midlands to do so. Just sorting out the review of the meet to go with the pics taken, Matt has advised me we are going to have around 4-5 pages available for a feature on the meet, so hopefully there are going to be a lot of cars on display. Depending when the write up is completed, we cud be featured as early as the next feature.

Well done to the 3 that won the trophies. I didn't have much of a chance to get around everyone and have a chat and see their cars but MrBoost and MrsBoost of Japautostyling.co.uk where very happy with the cars on show and had a hard time selecting 3 winners.

Pictures are available through http://www.japautostyling.co.uk and also http://www.japnortheast.co.uk

I'd like to thanks the staff of JNE (japnortheast) for there massive help in marshalling the event, the organisation went well and it looks like all enjoyed.

If you would like to leave feedback on the meet (which would be greatly appreciated on my behalf) so we can continue to exceed your expectation please leave details on the http://www.japautostyling.co.uk site.

Many thanks to those who took pictures, I may be in contact with a couple of you soon.

Look out for future events organised on both sites, and also for the feature coming up in JTuner soon.

Many thanks again

Neil
