michael parker
I was gonna wait until next year, though with the depreciation rate as it stands i got an offer i didn't want to miss. I'd been thinking about getting a Range Rover for a while:haha: (Yeah i know... Soop/RR - Chalk/cheese) due to me wanting to expand the family, kids, dog etc, and i just needed more room! So i saw one advertised and asked if he would consider a part x, i ended up giving £500 and the Soop for a 1997 Range Rover 4.6hse with every conceivable extra possible (except sat nav). This meant i'd achieved £8500 for the Soop, which in the the current market i was well happy about. The new owner is in Barnsley, so you may see him about, he may even log on here as i left the clubs sticers on the front and rear screens:idea: Just likie to say a big thank you to everyone on here for all the info and guidance that has come my way, and you never know, if i can get the missus to learn to drive....i may be after another one...i'd love a single:woot: I'll still keep an eye on the forum, so laters:Popcorn:

tbourner
I don't understand people selling Supes because of kids and dogs!! IMO if you can't afford to keep the car AND get a bigger vehicle for a family then you also can't afford to have kids!! Surely a baby is more expensive than a car? Having said that I quite like Range Rovers! I'd prefer an RS6 though.

UltraFlynn
Shame you didn't have room for both. I've got a Land Cruiser and a Supra and it's a fabulous combination! Safety for the wife and kids .... Supra for me......

Having said that I quite like Range Rovers! I'd prefer an RS6 though. But if you have two cars, you'd have to fork out for the two cars, the kid/s, dog/s aswell, its a lot cheaper running just one car, you'd spend what you'd save on the second car on the kids....if you get what i mean. The new owner is about mid 30's known as Paul, moussy blonde "surfer" type hair. WEA STRONG BARNSLEY AK SUNT LAD!!! Do miss the raw power of the Soop already, and the fuel consumption it gave strangely!!! i'll be gettin a LPG conversion soon though... Like i said, in a couple of years i will undoubtedly be after another performance car, and i'm pretty sure a Single will be right at the top of the list!
