Supralookin
I'm finding it a very emotional experience letting go of my Mazda and still not sure if I can actually let it go. How sad is that! Just staring at the little dash I decorated with silver shiny bits brought tears to my eyes on the way home. It's my first car and I've loved every minute but it's just soo awfully uncomfortable on a motorway. For the life of me I hold tight on that steering wheel because the car just sways from side to side. This only happens over say 80mph, and I guess it's just the lightness of the car. I'm also looking back at it everytime i go thinking, I can't get rid of that, look at it! I'm in two minds, keep it and buy an N/A or get rid and get a beast! Choices, choices... has anyone else found it quite hard "letting go"? Or am I just an emotional wreck?
michael
The way to ease the pain is to upgrade, it only hurts when you sell up for a Y reg Metro in beige.
Kopite
I'd keep it. So when you write off your Supra you'll still have something decent to drive in

Pete
I've always got way too attached to my cars. (Even Ralph the Rover 100 we still have on the drive.) You can have the best of both worlds - a nice summer roadster and big motorway cruiser.

KaoriFan
sad day tomorrow, my older carlton is gonna leave for good, never to return will be hard thinking of it as a 3ft square metal cube. had that car since 1990,and its done me so good over the years, until some idiot put a nice deep gouge down one side. always had probs with the battery, and a fuel leak. but still it was my first car, and didnt want to get rid of it. going to have its auto transmission taken out and placed in my newer carlton thats manual atm - its only done 27,000 miles and in as new as condition as can be.. i still need an everyday car for shopping etc. its nice having Kaori the Supra though, eases the pain
