Broken gauge - help needed

Recommended Posts

Has anyone got any ideas how I could fix it (bearing in mind my technical abilities are about at the level of changing a battery or wheel).

It hasn't really bothered me as I don't really know what I would do with the knoweledge of the exhaust temperature.

Cheers :p

Do a search for EGT to find out why its a good thing to have . . .

I have the same Greddy gauge in mine, if a sensor wire was broken it would flash its light at you. My guess is that there is no power getting to the control box, or that it's fried internally for some reason. I have read of Greddy EGT's failing before but normally the needle goes nuts.

Does the needle move when you hit the memory\recall button ?

If not then you need to check power going into that white control box.
