Jake
See http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/announcement.php?f=10&a=12 Group Buys This forum is only for the organising of group buys only. If you wish to organise a group buy then you will have to get written (PM or e-mail) consent from a moderator first. Please note that if you have the item in stock, or can deliver it next day or before everyone has paid, then you are not organising a group buy! Group buys are where people are willing to wait until enough people have signed up so that a bulk purchase may be made for the benefit of the individuals concerned. They are not for advertising discount prices if anyone is someone is willing to buy enough of a product. I'm not sure the last quoted sentence makes sense but you get the drift. Gamer
Hmm, about 100 miles from me. How exactly does this work in the end with regards to getting the seats there and time it takes for the work to be done ?

How exactly does this work in the end with regards to getting the seats there and time it takes for the work to be done ? You go down, they remove all seats, they have a spare seat for the Supra (drivers) you drive back with bugger all in other than drivers seat. Wait a week or so and then go back..............spanky trimmed ones re-fitted:thumbs: Paul
Paul
Can't suss that price list? I'm looking at fronts and rears, all leather, no piping with logo. I'm after a light cream colour so what's with the colour ref on the price list? Paul
Gamer
I will already have the seats out of the car. I wonder if it is cheaper (and less hassle) for me to have them shipped there and back.

I'm after a light cream colour so what's with the colour ref on the price list? Paul That should be about £950 + depends on number of logos. The reason that there could be some variation in price is if you choose a more expensive leather. ie If there's a specific shade/colour you want and it is only available in an expensive hide, it could cost more. Does that make any sense. Say so if no.

If they do the same less the piping for £1000 then I'd be happy. Paul
Guest zish
How does retrimming the door panels work in a soop. In most other cars there's a clearly defined cloth/leather insert that can be retrimmed, but there isn't such a thing on the soop? Does anyone have any clear pics of what it looks like? Thanks
nickyboy
Yup, there is no defined line but they come out looking like this....
Guest zish
Nick, I cant quite make it out from the pic - do they just stick some leather/alcantara to the plastic door panel. What is the finish like around the edges? Thanks
nickyboy
Hi mate, I'm not sure what the finish is. CJ would be as I know he has had his done by G&B. See this photo of his car. It also shows the finish a bit clearer as it is a larger pic.
Paul
What's the score with this GB then? I'd like to arrange booking mine in and getting a few samples of leather so if I ring them and qoute the GB then I get a more favourable price? Paul I believe it will normally all be based around the individual requirements - the GB prices I think you will normally find are for the 'basic' black leather' and the rest depending on what you have... Great quality of course...

Puts me in a better position to haggle though, I appreciate that certain colours etc will cost more though.I'm always looking for a bit of a saving, think it's called tight!
