Basically we all have the best type of car with the fastest acceleration because there are pro's and con's to each. I own a tiptronic where the engine to gearbox management was uprated and the tiptronic mode apparently delivers an even faster shift than full auto - but only a robot could tell and I'm no pretend racer so I couldn't care less if its true or not. Alls I know is that when I'm stuck in town or on the M40 or the M25...or wherever I happened to be...I can pick my nose with one hand and steer with the other.
