dangerous brain
This is a unique opportunity to get hold of a very rare and much sought after Twin Turbo aerotop supra. This car in its own right is a superb machine, and that was before it was modified. The car is up for sale for that traditional reason, I now am a proud father of a baby girl and have purchased a toyota aristo (lexus gs300 import) for its more volumous seating arrangement. Any inspection more than welcome, test drives also welcome as long as proof of insurance can be provided. If you are being realistic about the value of your own motor I will consider a part exchange. The list of modifications with the latest value of those parts new is as follows:- -UK spec brakes 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears, Endless front and Hawk rear pads, Stainless Steel brake lines, and brembo grooved discs Toyota UK Spec Front Brakes including delivery to UK - £475 Contents: 2 x 4pot Brake Calipers 2 x 323*30mm Brake Discs Fitting Kit Shim Kit Toyota UK Spec Rear Brakes including delivery to UK - £490 Contents: 2 x 2pot Brake Calipers 2 x 324*30mm Brake Discs Fitting Kit Discs and pads just fitted http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/asp/gcOrder.asp that needs tax and delivery adding -HKS Fuel Cut Defencer, TRL SLD, Walbro + FSE HKS fuel cut defencer receipt for £95, Walbro pump receipt £160 FSE £115.15 -Bilstein shocks/Eibach springs front and back suspension + TRD anti-roll bars (front n rear) which lowers the car by 38 mm B8 FRONT - £146+VAT EACH B8 REAR £146+VAT EACH these prices are discounted by 12% over the list price. Balance Motorsport . I can't find TRD anti roll bars anywhere to price them up. -Blitz SUS airfilter with Carbo Fibre protection box Receipt for £209.00 -HKS 'S' Front Mount Intercooler with hard pipe kit £740.43 -ERL Water Injection Kit that currently operates at .95 bar £342.75 -HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve + Samco Hoses £287.88 for BOV -Fully DeCatted Hiper Zorst RSR GT Sport Exhaust System closest I can find to the Hyper as the hyper is no longer available £475 Cat replacement pipes £275 -Blitz DSBC Spec S Boost Controller £369 -A'Pexi SAFC 2 £258.50 -Defi (BF) oil press, boost and exhaust gas temperature gauges (+controller) £495 -TRL top speed delimiter and speedo converter £110 -Racelogic Traction Control Receipt for £476.60 - HKS Turbo Timer £125 + harness £20 -ETTC (true twin turbo mode potential ie parallel which is switchable) -HKS 264 Cams (Int + Exh) + cam gears Gears £111.62 cams £600 -18'' AZEV rims with 245/40/18 and 275 /35/18 F1 GSD3's Brand new £1270 wheels £750 for the new tyres -Alpine CD (+RC) Player + Amp, Alpine speakers front and back, Purpose made bass box with 10" kicker pro sub. -UK Glass headlamps + facelift indicators (front and side) £306.75 headlamps £45 front indicators £35 sides -New Radiator + blinged intercooler cover plate Receipt for £301.98 and top cover £57.50 -Phillips Bulbs, Cat 1 Alarm + Optima Battery Battery receipt for £210 includes optima battery terminals. -TRD (copy) Fibreglass Bonnet £500 - ORIGINAL GZ OEM Skirts/Spats -Snooper S6R Neo GPS £329 -Full front and rear seat re-trim by Gibson and Boyne trimming company in soft hide leather and genuine alcantara with piping. -Door panels trimmed in alcantara Receipt for £1550 and some demo work done to keep price down -Stainless steel dial faces with red backlighting £115 -Dash lights and LEDs replaced with red £30 All of these prices are for the items themselves either receipted or current market cost as new. It isn't a cost for installation. In laymans terms what this means is that this car handles like a dream. Goes like stink 0-60 in around 4.8 seconds but to be honest that doesn't do the car justice. Its 90-150 acceleration is absolutely astounding and completely relentless, the confirmed 395 BHP the car has at the hubs may have something to do with this performance. It also stops with awesome confidence inspiring ability which is a good idea with this sort of power. The race logic traction control helps even the most enthusiatic driver keep the car going in the direction the driver pointed it in very efficiently. The cabin is a very nice place to sit on quality hide and listen to the noise of the top class stereo or wind the windows down take the roof off and listen to that sweet engine. Its got service history from the UK and I personally have had the oil and filter changed (fully synthetic and trd filter), the auto box fluid changed, spark plugs replaced (HKS Iridium), coolant changed, brake discs and pads replaced, brand new tyres, all less than 1000 miles ago. Tax is 06/06 and MOT to Jan 2006 but I will MOT it again before it leaves me. It was originally sourced from Japan by JIC and owned by another ex club member so its never been owned by anyone other than forum members. http://showoffyourcar.com/galleries.asp?carid=1752 http://www.showoffyourcar.com/galleries.asp?carid=1815 http://www.showoffyourcar.com/galleries.asp?carid=1104 I have reduced the price from £14k and it pains me to do so but I find I have to drop it again to get some interest going. Instead of putting a price down I'll just say I am considering sensible offers and that £12.5k was the last price I offered the car.

Scooter
DB I think you'll like the Aristo, seems to be a fair bit less oversteery, not sure if thats down to the weight over the rear maybe. It is a wee bit slow off the mark like the auto TT's but more so, which i think is just down to the overall weight! Electrically assisted brakes felt a bit weird at first but its soon adjusted to. Let me know if yours is decatted etc as i may be up for doing mine and i'm led to believe the pipes are unfortunately slightly different to the Supras. If you fancy a preview of a Aristo let me know! dangerous brain
Cheers mate. As it so happens it appears that this car has been set up as a drift car with a 2 way LSD what ever that is and is about as back end happy as any car you choose to pick. Also being a manual it will be a bit more reactive off the line than an auto. I think it has a cat out and with an FMIC the cams from my supe and the water injection I can see it putting out similar power to the supe as it stands now. The brakes are going to come off the supe as soon as I get a chance as well. My supe as it stands has got less than a week to go. After my aristo gets here its gonna start losing its gucci parts. dangerous brain
OK the cams water injection and blitz dump valve are coming off as has the tax. To be followed by the brembo discs and UK back brakes for J-spec ones. Dropped the price to £10.5k to reflect this.

All the interest so far has been as the car stands so for now I have decided to leave the car as it is ie with all the performance and cosmetic modifications still going with the car. jackso11
I thought your car looked real nice when I saw it on ebay a few months back, just the red inside that put me off. how easy would it be to put back to black do you think?

dangerous brain
I thought your car looked real nice when I saw it on ebay a few months back, just the red inside that put me off. how easy would it be to put back to black do you think? You can get a full facelift interior from ebay for about £100. I have currently had several offers of £600 for my interior so if you want a stock interior (god knows why as every single person that has seen the interior in the flesh has said its fantastic) you can make yourself back £400 on the interior. To be fair I have accepted an offer on this car and am waiting on the guy producing funds. He is awaiting the MOT pass so its a 50 50 waiting scenario. Anyone wants to pip the current offer by giving me the full £14k I want please feel free
stav
Grrrrrrrrr dammit, no good to me then! im only 23, but i got a really good quote of £580 fully comp tonight, however that was on a uk spec one, is it much more expensive to insure the jap spec ones?? Dude your insurance company would just laugh at you as soon as you got to the fifth modification on mine. They wouldn't even let you get to the end before they hung up on you lol. @ 474 calculated BHP from 395 bhp at the hubs this motor is a serious bit quicker than a stock UK one. I have settled for £11k and some new stuff for my aristo. Some £2k and a bit less than I wanted but I guess realistic given the current market state and the time of year. I could gamble on it fetching a higher price at the start of the summer but I just don't want it to just sit there looking balefully at me for not using it
stav
yea, see where ya coming from, thats why i am really only wanting something with bpu's as i have about 1k to spend on insurance, maybe abit more! will keep looking, dunno wether to go black coupe now, or keep on the aerotop route! still go afew months to decide that though!
