Number plate in sunday times

A colleague of my fathers is selling his number plate. Seem like a plate for an arrogant prick here it is: F U 2 for £1 million. My dad has seen it go at auction for 99 thousand. Typical medic living in la la land. Also no offence to my pa but he thinks he is gunna get 250 thousand in a few years for 1CH.

Hope you all enjoy the giggle!

I once saw S1MON on a BMW M3 a few years back I'm told Simon Cowl now owns this plate!

51R (Sir) was up for sale for £125k and and my favourite (if I had the money) SPL1F £25k...

And recently there was an Aston Martin Vanquish for sale with the plate 007, how cool (or sad) is that..god knows how much that was going for it was simply listed as 'Ask!!!'

Saw a nice black Merc SEC in London last weekend with 5PY ...he obviously hadnt grasped the idea of being covert yet.

There was a Ferrari in Poole a year or so ago with P155 OFF as I remember...

As to the rich twot who may pay megabucks for FU2, he deserves everything hes bound to get...just hope he breaks down somewhere socially impaired.

 If I had an Aston I'd walk over hot coals for that number plate!

I saw the other best Aston plate in Godalmig one time: "A5 TON". Then about 2 days later I saw the owner on tv being interviewed about 'vanity plates' claiming he paid about £15,000 for that one, which he put on a V8 vantage. Nice.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the most expensive plate ever was K1NGS which went for about £200k.

The new most expensive plate ever is now MR 51NGH which went for 250k.

What annoys me about that is the the DVLA held that plate back and auctioned it off for themselves. :thumbdown Seems a bit naughty to me, it should have been issued normally and some lucky sod who got it would be quids in! kinda like winning the lottery.
