chris aka fonz
How much do these beasts cost when built ? Does anyone on here know of anyone who has self built one as they seem a decent price for the kit ?
RobSheffield
iirc they are itro 50k fully built and on the road, depending on engine, brake, gearbox and trim packages etc the 'kit' is the basics, you still gotta add a small block chevy and a gearbox, and a set of wheels and tyres and a set of brkes too nice motor for the money though! SimonB
Anything from £35k to £60K depending what engine etc you go for. Have a look at http://www.ultima-gtr.info and http://www.ultima-canam.info. Loads of info there. They're amazing bits of kit, always fancied building one myself. Pete
Taken at the Donny show last month - very blurry I'm afraid. They're not a budget build that's for sure.
chris aka fonz
Be a great project , for the money they are awesome ! My girlfriends dad loves building things , he built a 1 man submarine once so im sure he'd be right into something like this ! Not that i would try and bodge one together with a 1 man sub making maniac !

Pete
Personally I'd prefer a GT40. Here's a video I made in 2002 at the Stoneleigh show. http://www.kitcarcentral.co.uk/video/stoneleigh2002gt40_256k.wmv
