Sub_Culture
Hello! My speedo reads up to 110 mph, and the car has been delimited. I want to change the dials to something a bit more gucci, but think the 180mph dials look much more appropriate for a 160mph+ car! Is it just a case of hooking up a chip onto the back of the speedo? I did this with my RX7 and it was very simple, but that read KPH and was limited when I bought the car. Seeing as this is already half converted, i wasnt sure if there was anything more to it? Any advice gratefully received! Andy
blitz supra
Supras are not as simple with speedos etc get it done proffessionally as there are a few different wiring diagrams odo will cause most probs you can get trip to clock up in miles but it WILL still show KM sign Overall mileage will still show in km's you cant re- clock the fig back down to miles so if your car had 110kms on it when you got it for example it will still clock up from 110ks but in miles not Km's So looks like car has done over 100k MILES... A bugger really ALSO PAY FOR A DECENT CHIP THAT CAN BE CALIBRATED!! so if you decide to change wheels / tyres etc the speedo can be correctly calibrated, A £50.00 chip is what it is... crap and from past experience with imports they last about 2 years. you get what you pay for.. Sub_Culture
Okay, thats very useful, thanks, Blitzy-Boy! There is a garage in Kingston I used to use for some work who do lots of Jap Import work. Im sure thats something they could do? Do you know of any other companies that you would recommend?
