Gazboy
Mate of mine lives in Seattle, has a prob with temps: have to go find a cure for my truck and its odd temperature gauge behaviour... what do you reckon to this: cruising along temp is fine, then it goes all the way up to the top then back to normal. in about 5 seconds... but thats all it does, the needle goes to the red bit then as quick as it got there goes back down... im guessing it could be a blocked pipe, temp sender, thermostat or even just a rad flush.. who knows... ----------------- Any ideas? TrickTT
Gauge or sender only. No way the water temp could fluctuate that quickly. Its a regular problem on our Scanias at work
Ian C
My Granada used to do this - the Ford garage said it was the balance resistor on the back of the gauge. I swapped them and it still did it. But it wasn't the actual water temp... -Ian
