Guest Terry S Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 Presumably all these ECU based systems only use the RPM and speed signals to decide if wheel spin is occurring. The advantage of RLTC is that it uses the individual wheel speeds from the ABS sensors. So it can tell when you are cornering, and allow less slip than when you're in a straight line, which the ECU based ones can't (unless they also have the ABS wheel speed sensors wired in). So, out of interest, what functions are locked within the Motec and how much is the retail price for a fully unlocked version? I ask as this was never offered to me when I bought mine. I ask as this was never offered to me when I bought mine. Depends on the MoTeC and I don't know all the options...but things like anti lag and TC are extra features which cost more.
