Guest zish
Hi guys, i'm currently looking for my first auto Supra. Ideally i'm after a facelift example that hasn't had any mods - a set of 18s is about as much as I would like to do to the car. It seems its quite hard to find an unmolested example - horrible front bumpers and big bhp abound Anyway, regarding the exhaust issue - i know this may be considered sacriligious by most of you, but I really hate these after market exhausts (baked bean cans) that most cars seem to come with - I know they free up bhp, but i much prefer the standard toyota one. Does anyone know how much it will cost to get the toyota one supplied and fitted if i can only find a car with a bake bean can. I would've thought there are quite a few second hand ones around from people who have upgraded to performance exhausts. Cheers guys.

Bobbeh
Yeah, I wouldnt buy one from Toyota, that'll probably set you back ~£500... Mongoose do a good stanbard ish one for around 300 but many people on here would have the stock exhaust just lying around.
merckx
horrible front bumpers and big bhp abound Cheers guys. I don't go for most of the aftermarket bumpers neither. I can imagine that the standard exhaust from a Toyota dealer would be expensive , secondhand ones regularly appear on Ebay. I'm sure you'll find a member on here living nearby that'll have one, most of them will just want shot of them so I wouldn't pay much at all if anything. Gazboy
If you find a car that is great other than the full Blitz exhaust, buy it and we can swap exhausts....

Gordon F
Does anyone know how much it will cost to get the toyota one supplied and fitted if i can only find a car with a bake bean can.QUOTE] It depends if the car has both cats still fitted. If it does, you wil only need the cat back system (like the ebay link), if not, and you wanted to buy a complete system from Toyota including both cats and the downpipe, I reckon it would be round the £1K mark. I have a standard one from UK facelift auto TT...make me an offer There was no facelift UK car, and also the downpipe and cats are slightly different between the UK and Jap cars. AJI
I bought a stock unit from Toyota a few years back but I never installed it. If you want you can have my unit for only £50 + P&P. They were £250 new by the way. Please PM me if you're interested. (i've got images etc. I can send you if you want to check it out)
