Guest supra166
hi there, bought some 2nd hand wheels, and i need to replace the back tyres. the tyres that are one there at the moment are 275/35zr18. i was just woundering if i have to get the exact same size tyres again or can i go a little different. say 255/40zr18- would they fit? also when i go over bumps the tyres are rubbing with the arches so would having a thinner tyre solve this problem? any help will be very helpful. cheers
Ian R
It depends on where it is rubbing if it is the edge of the arch then possibly. However the 255 40 18 the wall height is bigger than 35 so may rub more.
