Just arranged to go out for a chinese meal, and one of my friends dosn't want to come because they are scared they might get bird flu from the crispy arromatic duck or the lemon chicken!:scare:

Seriously.... Is there really a risk?:(

And is this true there wont be any Turkey for christmas either?:thumbdown

Yeah don't worry though, it's nowhere near as bad as "man" flu! I was lucky to survive last week I tell you, virtually hospitalised I was... :p

I know what you mean...and there you are....laid up in bed, incapacitated due to a runny nose and "they" won't even lift a finger to aid you.

Once, I even had to turn the TV on myself (with the remote of course, I mean, I couldn't get up, could I?)

why would anyone relate bird flu to chinese food or chinese?

i used to work in UK as a chef, and none of the meat is from china.
