A couple of months ago my housemate came home with a chinchilla, now i dont mind but this thing is a pain in the arse! It been though a set of my airwalks already, im really considering leaving the front door open. The other day i left the toilet seat up......hahaha little bastard wont go up stairs now. Must have spent a good 30 mins at the bottom of the pan!:flame:

ill have to get some pics :)

OMG - poor chinchilla. They are gorgeous pets and reasonably clever and trainable. We got one toilet trained for weeing which was a god send as that stuff really stains!!!

I know its not yours but they should never be left unattended :twak:, they will go through wire in next to no time and as you've found are pretty good at jumping where they shouldn't!! They are also unbelievably squidy and can get through gaps no more than about 1.5" in height - we couldn't work out how the little fella had got out his cage at first, then we saw him do an impression of a pancake!

I love chinchillas, just wish I had the space and time for one now.

Only just noticed this thread. Lovely week in the canaries last week, and was missing my cat by the first day. Got back on monday. Tuesday morning was woken at 7am by my histerical wife. Went downstairs and there, lying lifeless in the road, my little pippa. She was only just a year old. The heartless bastard that hit her didnt even bother to stop and move her to the verge. Just left her there in the middle of the road. Wont be having another cat. It hurts to much.

Sorry to here that, I understand how you feel.:(

Our cat Timmy also got knocked over.

If I see a cat that's been knocked over I always stop and see if I can do anything, I cannot just drive past. Unfortunately most of the time they are beyond help.

I look for a name tag and if possible find the owner, if not I'll pick them up and put them away from the road.

Our Neighbours Cat/Kitten who was owned by their disabled boy, got run over by the minibus that picks him up! The driver must of felt something!:complain: luckily the boy didn't know. It was Brian (Soop Dogg) who found him. He had to go round to his mum to tell her the sad news.

We were very fond of this little cat, although very timid he would come round and be company for us when working on the cars. He would sit just out of reach and just watch. Brian would never try to pet him, but let him sit there. It was like an unspoken thing that he would watch when we were working at the car.

That's why we keep our cats indoors.

Might as well get another Westie in here

Here's Misty, she's hitting 13 now and for the past 4 years we've been blessed every day, got told 4 yrs ago she had an enlarged heart and they put her on a right dose of tablets, been fine ever since. 6 Months ago we found out she had cancer and got a huge lump taken out but against all the odds she continues to be a holy terror, sleeps all day and rules the roost for the night and makes us smile every minute.

Looks like a right little character!

I'm so so sorry to hear about this. Its absolutely devastating to see house pets just left in the road when hit, heartless basterd doesn't even come close, castration would be more suiting.

Now I've moved out from my parents I don't have a dog anymore but here's my mums two westies. One of them loves having his photo taken the other just barks at cameras.

I love Westies I think they are adorable. We had a westie growing up, my dads dog, he was the stupidest dog ever. We called him Mister. Used to be really embarrassing when out walking him, as my dad used to shout "oi Mister". He also used to walk into things all the time, especially the patio door, because he could see through it, he assumed he could walk through it. Bless his cotton socks. :rlol:
