Joke of a country? naaaahhh...

Immigration staff have been ordered to stop wearing summer clothes - in case the sight of bare flesh offends newly arrived asylum seekers. Workers have been told to ditch blouses, T-shirts and vests and wear winter outfits even during the hot spell - in a ruling which ignores the fact the people fleeing war or persecution are likely to have far more to worry about than a British official's style of dress. A woman clerk at the Migrant Helpline Office at Dover Docks - the first point of call for asylum seekers arriving from France - was sent home to change for revealing a bit of shoulder.

A colleague said, "She was in tears. She did as she was told but at the same time asylum seekers were getting new clothes for free. About 50 people work here in a windowless block. It is hot and sometimes stinks so much it makes you sick. Now we are told we have to sweat because normal summer clothes might upset people." Personnel manager Tony Fuller sent a warning to workers at the Migrant Helpline, which has 10 offices in the South East including Ashford in Kent, Canterbury, Folkestone, Hastings and Brighton.

It says: "All staff should be mindful that many cultures find the exposure of bare skin (e.g. shoulders, thighs, midriffs) offensive. Apart from giving offence, inappropriate dress in the Migrant Helpline environment may hinder effective communication between staff and clients. To avoid this situation and the possibility of staff being sent home... all staff are requested to dress appropriately."

What happens then, if and when these asylum seekers are granted permission to stay here? Is the entire population of this country expected to 'stop wearing summer clothes' in case the sight of bare flesh offends them? Anyone wishing to settle in any other country in the world is expected to accept that country's rules and regulations, laws and customs. So why does Britain insist we change our lifestyle to suit immigrants? Answers on a postcard please.................

There is more pathetic silliness on that link.

This country has been taken over by corrupt solicitors and 'interpreters' of the legal framework. They all buy villas with public money, pretending to be 'defending' the helpless and the poor.

Lets start a petition for large signs outside all immigration offices that says

"WELCOME TO THE UNITED KINGDOM - If you dont agree with our rules regulations, laws and customs - THE EXIT IS BEHIND YOU"

of course these signs should be multi lingual so that everyone can read them!!!!!!!!!!

PC gone mad, I'm sure there have been cases of coloured people getting jobs in favour of higher skilled white british citizens, for fear of the compay getting done for being racist!!

Where will it end?

PS can you stop talking in your particular accent please it offends me, I'd prefer it if we all changed our accent and language of choice every other sentence.

Yep they have, similar story with women too as the firms don't want to appear sexist. Think a lot of it is forced on them though because people do try it on etc. If it carries on like this then the asylum seeker numbers will be thinkin this country's more of a paradise for them it already is!!
