Lucifer
I was thinking about hosting through remote desktop the PArts CD (EPC). Would anyone be interested in this?

michael
I tried to do this using RDP/Tarantella a couple of years ago but had issues displaying the pics, eventually sorted it and had it working for a few users but didn't have the means to get it out to a wider audience. It would be a useful tool to have available, are you on the latest version of the EPC?

michael
I'll see what I can do, mine isn't the latest version they use in the dealerships but I think it's the latest one that is available out here in the dodgy underworld, it has large disk support and other minor updates. Soonto_HAS_soop
Can someone not save it all as a torrent file and upload it somewhere, so that everyone can get it that way?
Chris Wilson
I'd like it too, and would pay for the priviledge. I am trying to get the very latest vesrion from my suppliers, but the guys a bit of an old woman, buying cocaine would be far easier... Not entirely sure which version, I think both Jap and Export might be. I got my export one from there.

Gaz Walker
I'll see what I can do, mine isn't the latest version they use in the dealerships but I think it's the latest one that is available out here in the dodgy underworld, it has large disk support and other minor updates. Its because the current system is Internet based (no CD's), connected straight Toyota GB Server, gives instant stock updates, prices etc etc Gaz. Gaz Walker
Can't we hack into it? Maybe! Gaz.
Lucifer
Maybe! Gaz. Unfortunatly not. It is a HTTPS (Secure) connection and only allows a restricted IP list to connect. The system I was offering would NOT include prices, unless someone can supply me a database every couple of months or so. I may also be able to offer this for other models and makes of cars too. Lucifer
Well then, Ill put up the one I have in the next few days on my home broadband connection for now so I can keep an eye on it. If we test all this successfully then Ill put it in a datacentre with more bandwidth.
Jake
I think making a torrent for it is great idea. We can all share the load then.
