I was actually thinking about possible conversions the other day for the Rex, personally I would have went with either the 1JZ or 3sgte, probably the 3sgte, but I am suprised in a way that the 2jz was chosen, didn't think it would be the ideal choice where weight is a concern? Does anyone know the weight differences between the rex engine and the 2jz gte engine?? i doubt that the 2JZ is that much heavier than the 13b the main problem i can see is that the 2JZ is a hell of a lot longer than the 13b and will add a load of weight in front of the front wheels.
